At Scott Robins Edutainment, we provide entertainment with a purpose. When you hire us for your next event, you help support wild parrot conservation programs, rainforest conservation programs, education programs at schools, and help us rescue and provide a home for macaws and other parrots that are no longer wanted as pets.

We are based in the northern suburbs of Chicago, IL. Our beautiful parrots are available for School Programs, Strolling Entertainment, Parties, Fairs, Festivals, Trade Shows, and Film and Commercial Work.

NEWS

Hello to all of our supporters. We have a new Sun Conure that has recently joined our flock. We are waiting for DNA results to name the bird. Thanks to Dr. Sakas and his team, this bird has cleared all of our health screening. Thanks to David and Gayle of the Bird Farm. We love this baby.

Rescues in the News
We just took in a 14 year old Citron Crested Cockatoo named OJ. OJ has lived in atleast 2 other homes. Thank you to Julie Kelley of Kelley Bird Boarding in Crystal Lake, IL. Julie and her husband fostered OJ temporarily until he was placed with us.

There is an estimated population of less than 1,000 Citron Crested Cockatoos left in the wild on the island of Sumba, Indonesia. They are on the Critically Endangered list. OJ will be an important addition to our Conservation Station School Programs.

OJ update:
OJ has passed all of his health screening. We invited him to join us at our last school programs of the year. Check him out at www.youtube.com/scottr751  look for the OJ's debut link.

L to R Matt, Scott, and Justin

We were out at the public radio private terrace at Navy Pier, Chicago, IL with our parrots. Lighting Man Productions hired us for the Digitas Summer Event. Everyone enjoyed our parrots. The event was themed to a cruise ship type experience. Marc and Moe greeted guests in the lobby as they  arrived. It was hot, humid, and it rained. We smiled and had a great time with the guests. All six of our macaws came out to visit with the guests. The tall ship, Windy was docked directly across from us.

Thanks for hiring us Mr. Duffy! We were glad to provide your ship mascots for the day!

Lola and Ricky are our Green Wing Macaws.

I just want to say thanks again to Mitch Rezman from
www.windycityparrot.com

All of our macaws are housed in Prevue 3155 macaw cages. All of our parrot housing comes from Mitch and Katherine at WindyCity Parrot. They are a fantastic distributor of just about anything that you may need for your birds at home. Talk about customer service! When you are looking for added value and customer service, Mitch and Katherine are the real deal. They will listen to your needs and do the best that they can to help you.

With all of our birds, certainly price is part of our decision process, but the personal service, and going the extra mile to help us makes the decision easy to do business with Mitch and Katherine.

Recently, WindyCity connected me to Sandi at OlliesParrotsperch rescue program in DeKalb. I am going to provide some training assitance to Sandi and her volunteers. Her rescue program will also be recieving a donation from one of my school programs in January. I am proud to help them on behalf of Windycity Parrot and Scott Robins Edutainment.

We are very appreciative of their support.

Here's OJ! He is such a cutie and a natural born comedian.
